Take Toor dal in a bow! and wash it 2-3 times in water. Transfer the washed pulses into the cooker and add water. Add the Sugran turmeric powder, Sugran Hing Powder and mix thoroughly. Close the lid and cook on medium heat till 4 whistles. Open the lid and stir well with the beater. Keep it aside.
Step 2
Heat the butter in a pan. Instead of butter you can use ghee or oil. When the butter is a bit hot then adds mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add finely chopped onion and fry until it tums golden. Add tomatoes, green chilies, Sugran coriander powders, Sugran chili powder, Sugran kitchen king masala and garlic paste. Mix everything well.
Step 3
Cover with lid and cook until tomatoes become soft. Open the lid and add water to adjust consistency. Add salt to taste and add coriander fenugreek. Mix well. Boil for about 5-7 minutes. Dal Fry is ready.
Step 4
To make Dal Tadka, heat ghee in a pan. You can also use oil instead of ghee. Add minced garlic and let it be a little golden. Add dried red chillies and fried it. Add this Tadka to the Dal Fry and mix it well. Dal Tadka is ready. Serve it with cumin seeds.
