Misal Pav

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 spoons Sugran Misal Masala
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugran turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup moth beans (sprouted)
  • 1/2 cup white peas (sprouted)
  • 1/2 cup green gram (sprouts)
  • 2 tablespoons cow peas (sprouted)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Sugran Chili Powder
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup mixed farsaan (extra)

PREPARATIONS

Step 1
Heat oil in a cocker and add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds are cracked, add onion and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame. Now add Sugran misal masala and cook for 1 minute on low flame.
Step 2
Mix it well with tomatoes, Sugran Turmeric Powder and low water and cook this mixture on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Add moth beans, white peas, green gram and cow peas and mix them well. Add 2 cups hot water and salt.
Step 3
Now mix well, close the lid and cook until it is whistle. Open the lid and add Sugran chili powder, 1/2 cup water and coriander, mix well and boil for 3 to 4 minutes
Step 4
For serving, pour 1/4 of the misal in a serving bowl, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of mixed farsaan, 2 tablespoons of onions and 1 tablespoons of coriander over it. Serve it with 2 Pav and lemon wedges. Your Missal Pav is ready to eat.
